Meet Christopher Barclay – Podcast Host

Chris is a down to earth Minister with a heart for people. For over 40 years, he has been living out his calling.

Before making the UK his home, Chris was a familiar voice and face in Jamaica, the Cayman Islands, and Guyana where he helped bring God’s message to thousands through radio and television ministries. He has worn many hats in ministry – from leading youth groups and church choirs to teaching Sunday School and guiding men’s ministries.

Chris is someone who believes in lifelong learning and holds undergraduate and a master degree in Social Work. He is currently pursuing his doctorate in Theology and Ministry. When he’s not preaching at The First Born Church of the Living God in London, you’ll find him making a real difference in people’s lives through his work as an Operations Manager for a housing organization, where the focus is supporting individuals with mental health, homelessness and complex needs.

As a part-time College Lecturer and Assessor, in Care and Management, Chris acts as a mentor helping to shape the next generation of care professionals. Above all, he’s a proud dad to sons Anthony and William.
